INSPIRATION BEHIND THE SONG

When I learned that there was a songwriting competition for Bombo Music Festival 2020, I tried to finish one of my incomplete love songs, which I started long time ago. However, to my frustration, I could not complete that song after spending several hours. I was probably not in a good mood at that time, confused, and was thinking of so many things.

Because of my desire to write and complete a song for Bombo, I told myself “Maybe I should use this emotion as an inspiration to write a new song”. On that particular moment, I thought of a song-title “Mahirap Gumawa Ng Kanta” that revealed my true feelings for my song entry. With this theme, I was able to compose the lyrics and the melody of the song.
